Subtitle: The Hour Is Come
What we need to do is use the prophetic words that God has been speaking so we can position ourselves correctly and begin to do what we’re supposed to.
Esther 2:11
Matthew 6:10
God’s will for His children in Heaven is already done. Earth is lagging behind for His will to pass in our lives, but as far as the Father is concerned - it’s done. So when God reveals His will, we need to understand that it’s already done. If it’s done, then I need to wonder: what is He expecting from me?
Esther was crowned as the new queen in Heaven, though Mordecai was walking to see what would become of her. God’s will for her was to enter the beauty competition. On Earth, she might not have known—but Heaven had already appointed her to become queen.
Question for ourselves: What has Heaven appointed for me right now, to be, to have, to own, to possess, and enjoy on Earth, right now?
Esther didn’t know she’d be the next queen, but Heaven did.
For everything that God has been revealing to us from Heaven - have I yet come to the place of discovery and knowing what Heaven has given me? What am I supposed to be walking in now that Heaven has confirmed? If I don’t know, I won’t walk in it. If I’m ignorant of the Father’s will, which is already done in Heaven - but I haven’t taken the time to seek the Father’s will for me on Earth, then I won’t experience it.
Mark 14:32-42: Jesus opened up to Peter, James, and John about how He was feeling.
In this month of August, I need to pack up my baggage and soulish prayers, because for God’s will to manifest and come to pass in this season, those prayers won’t move God's hand and power.
This August, God wants to reveal Himself as Abba. Jesus turned His prayer from the soulish realm to the Spirit, addressing God as Abba. Throughout the Bible, there are only three verses where God is referred to as Abba:
Romans 8:15
Galatians 4:6
Mark 14:36
These are the only scriptures in the entirety of the Bible where God is addressed as Abba (Father).
When I begin to speak to God from the Spirit realm, there is always a revelation of who God is and how we approach Him.
God wants us to come before Him as Abba and to reveal Himself to us as Abba.
Jesus didn’t end His prayer in the soulish realm. He stepped into the Spirit and this is where He ended His prayer. When we come into Abba’s presence, it’s not about what I want and desire, but about what He wants, desires, and His will. So even though Jesus was sorrowful, He began to pray the Father’s will and quickly abandoned His soulish prayer (what He wanted).
Jesus’ hour was upon Him - and that hour was to fulfil the Father’s will, which was done from the foundation of the earth.
Matthew 6:10: Jesus, in Heaven, was already the Lamb of God. This was already done. The will of the Fathers is already done for our lives, but we’ve reached an hour where we need to align our will with what’s already done in Heaven.
We need to come before Him as Abba and learn to abandon our will totally before Him. If I want God’s will in my life in this season, I need to begin to enquire: What is the Father’s will for my life in this hour?
It might be a change of character, a renewing of my mind, or a change of friends. We need to go before Him open-minded.
When we come before the presence of the Father without any premeditated thoughts, we ought to write down whatever He tells us.
2 Chronicles 7:14: Some of our wicked ways are our premeditated thoughts about God’s will in our lives.
God will hear me. I must ask Him for His will for me, for the hour is come, right now. I need to seek God’s will, because I don’t know what’s coming.
For God’s will to come to pass in our lives, it’s going to require us to be in prayer. The Father’s will must be birthed in a place of prayer and intercession. When God gives us a dream or revelation, it’s just a seed - it’s time to go through labour. It’s time to push our destiny and give birth to our calling. Jesus did this - and He was there for three hours.
The enemy won’t so easily allow God’s plan to pass. We need to fight for our destiny.
God wants us to tarry in His presence for a bit longer.
Hour (Greek Definition) - Properly: an hour; figuratively, a finite season. A limited time of opportunity to reach a goal, fulfil a purpose - a divinely preset time or period to accomplish the Lord’s specific purpose.
The hour is a time in which specific characteristics prevail - exactly like that - for a limited time.
So God wants us to do specific things in this season and in this window of time that He has given us, we need to know Abba’s will.
I have to be ready.
There are Three things that God will do this season:
He will reveal Himself as our Provider
He will reveal Himself as our Protector
He will reveal Himself as our Providence
If we come before God and discover His will, then whatever He has for me, I ought not to worry. God will make it happen. I don’t need to stress myself or wonder how it’s going to happen. I need to leave it with God - for it’s possible for Him.
I need to take myself out of the picture and allow Him alone to be in the picture, watch Him do the impossible and allow Him to do wondrous and miraculous things in my life.
I need to pray and seek the Father’s will. I need to increase my time in prayer as much as possible.
Jesus repeated the Father’s will all three times He went to pray.
When we pray for the Father’s will, the answers will come fast and with speed. Jesus prayed for three hours and the manifestation of the Father’s will began to play out in His life immediately (Mark 14:42).
God’s answers concerning my life are coming and with speed. Just pray and tarry in His presence.
Amen.
